Hello there, Im trying to automate a process with an application. What I'd like to do is to get Applescript to simulate a left/right mouse button click on a certain region of the screen (where a button will be). you could use Automator in conjunction with QT to achieve what you want...as long as all original avi's are the same size. ...

It's strange that multiple rename is not in Finder. If I ever needed to do it, I'd probably make an action with Automator (or use that Applescript). I've attached an example. It literally took me 5 minutes to make and test. And I'm not a programmer. *** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.** Test it first to make sure it does what you think it does. Here's a suggestion I've only just thought of... In iCal set a daily reminder Alarm set to Run Script Select your Automator Script Hope that helps ;)

I've not been fortunate/unfortunate enough to play with Vista, I only know about it what I've seen or read on the internet. I was intrigued by the display of windows in 3D, but I don't know how well this works in practice. I also liked the idea of windows becoming transparent when in the background.
