Everyone puts more focus on the stuff on the surface, there are a lot of things underneath that are improvements. read this if you want some in depth This is kinda how i feel too: I took the quote from here, which is an article that basically rips apart automator, spotlight and dashboard.

i'd say the biggest things (spotlight, automator, dashboard, mail) have been rather unused by me. (i use a hotmail account, mail doesn't like HTTP, i have never used widgets, and i have other ways around that, never used automator, and i found panthers search adequate) but i would agree with fryke, there are little slight subtlties which prevent me from going back to panther....

Use Automator to generate a workflow. You should be able to then save it as an item available in the contextual menu item of the Finder... ...

Mail. Spotlight. Automator. Dashboard. Very short "Optimizing " times after installing new software, unlike Panther which sometimes took 20 minutes or more. Better integrated .Mac/device syncing. Safari RSS. XCode 2.0 -- big leap forward in my book, as I'm sure most developers will agree.

Hello. Sorry to hear you're having problems (both of you - tdurst1 - you could be accused of hijacking a thread - but I'm not that sort of guy...) I'd like to say that I have no problems here (admittedly I don't use Indesign, but I do use MS Office). There is no known rollback procedure - but I read of techniques that 'fool' the system... you run the risk of potential...

Yeah tried them all. Well what orignally happend i think was i tried renaming those file names by using automator. And it just kept adding on to the name, instead of replacing existing text which is what i chose

I have no idea what the average file size of a script/automator workflow is, but maybe there could be an attachment limit increase on that forum only, and only finished products could be...
