This made me curious to see how some of the simple apps I use stack up to each other. I took a 1.5MB text file and replaced a string that occurred about 4100 times. I upgraded to Tiger immediately, mainly because as a developer, I want to be on the cutting edge. As a user, though, I wish I'd stuck with Panther.
