Good Morning, We have a Windows domain that has a Mac OS X server running Panther because of the 12 Mac OS clients that are also on the network. The Macs are authenticating to the Active Directory server. We were planning on upgrading all of the client Macs to Leopard...but leaving the server on Panther. Could this cause problems? I rarely update when I should but I was experiencing a moment of weakness when I clicked on update and the next morning when I tried to open Word, iTunes, Quark, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro etc etc the icon at the bar will start to bounce as if it wants to open then shuts down. I am a complete idiot when it comes to most things. I live in the sticks and there is no computer...

I did exactly what you suggested... except the onyx, it requires os 10.5 or greater and I am OSX 4.11. I did download a couple of other fixers and unfortunately those will not open either. Same as with all other applications. The disk utility said I had no permission problems and it all verified fine. I mean I cant even get itunes to open. nothing and have like 50...
