Why not just go Dreamweaver? I believe it's a better program.

I rarely update when I should but I was experiencing a moment of weakness when I clicked on update and the next morning when I tried to open Word, iTunes, Quark, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro etc etc the icon at the bar will start to bounce as if it wants to open then shuts down. I am a complete idiot when it comes to most things. I live in the sticks and there is no computer...

I did exactly what you suggested... except the onyx, it requires os 10.5 or greater and I am OSX 4.11. I did download a couple of other fixers and unfortunately those will not open either. Same as with all other applications. The disk utility said I had no permission problems and it all verified fine. I mean I cant even get itunes to open. nothing and have like 50...
