I don't think that has much to do with Leopard, since I also get that spinning ball now and then, and I'm using Tiger (also on a MacBook). I found the following instructions to utilize the built-in Mac OSX interpreter: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setting_up_php_03.html I found it to be very quick and it works. Hope this helps someone else as well. Jack
