I have an external Lacie DVD drive which will not play films on my Mac - is there a way of getting my G4 using Tiger to play The Lord of the Rings for me? The G4 only has a CD writer installed. The DVD player gives a message "A valid DVD drive could not be found" but the drive works fine for reading/writing data discs.

hi, is there anyway of using the itunes equalizer in dvd player as some of my films are a little quiet and i wouldn't mind cranking up the sound a little with the preamp and i don't have any extenal speakers(i'm travelling around and can't carry any) i'm running 10.3 on a 12" powerbook
