have upgraded my G3 beige with a 500mhz G4 zif, 768megs of ram, 6megs of vram, a superdrive and 100gig HD. I have to use VLC to play DVDs. Have done a search for DVD player but no luck. Any ideas? ...

i have a G3 500mghz iMac with 384 RAM and it plays most DVDs without a problem. But it wont plays my Hidalgo DVD, which i purchased from Best Buy. -i checked the disc and it is not scratched or damaged in any way. -the DVD plays on my home DVD player without a problem but it doesnt play on my mac. whats the deal? how can i solve this?
