Hi and welcome to the forum. :) Assuming that you're running 10.4.x, have you tried setting the paper type from within System Preferences-->Printer & Fax? Head to System Preferences-->Print & Fax, click on the Sharing tab, and uncheck "Share these printers with other computers". That should prevent any broadcasting on that port (which is for Internet Printing Protocol used by the CUPS printing server in Mac OS X).
