Resorted to installing the "HP Laserjet 4 series, CUPS+Gimp-Print v4.2.5" under OS X (the HP driver did not work) as a LPR printer. Have you tried importing in either program? Illustrator might be able to import the corel draw files. Your best bet is to export from a Corel Draw program to an .eps file then open that in Illustrator. Let us know what happens!
