I have evidence that this dataloss happened because 10.3.X doesn't support the Z520a. I have a Macmini with 10.4.X and the sync process seems to work fine. Unfortunatly the the mini is my entertainment center (EyeTV) and the powerbook is what I use to work. I have not yet committed myself to working on 10.4 because the reviews on apple.com have been so negative. What...

I have EyeTV myself, but their support for the device, while cool, is not enough for me to pay $3/week. That's $30 a month...imagine what you could get with $30 a month... Foxtel, magazine subscription, sponsor a child in Africa...

Sorry to deliver bad news, but using EyeTV to play Xbox through a Mac won't work. There is a small delay between the EyeTV and the mac which is ok for TV or movies, but for games it's hopeless. Believe me I've tried. ...

You can try Elagto's EyeTV http://www.elgato.com Although I looked at it, I don't think anyofthem have component cables. :( I think they're the only tuners compatible with mac. I'm not 100%. I know there's a lot of TV tuners on tigerdirect.com, but who knows if they're macpatible.
