does that record MPEG-2 like the 200 model? coz i remember the original EyeTV recorded MPEG-4 and was just awful quality.

as far I know the only way is through a product like EyeTV. I have an EyeTV 200 and it works fantastically well, though a little expensive (~$600 Australian, £219 At UK AppleStore).

id suggest simmilar, but use a different tuner (eyetv is very restrictive) that supports HD, and use iTele!
