Hello .. Thank you for replying to my question so fast.... I have never felt as incomepetent as in trying to start a new thread with a question here... I didn't read all the mumbo jumbo associated with these forums so forgive me for plugging my question into someone elses... I'm still unsure how to start a new thread..Is there a shortcut or icon I should be using to do...

Also could i put the new hard in a hard drive enclosure and sling it off my mac g4 and load os9 first then osx and then once i get everything setup hook it up as the master drive on the g4 quicksilver? ...

there are so many available pc fans and they will work in your mac also just make sure that the specs are not lower that the original fans in the way of CFM here are the stock fans specs CPU fan on a G4 933: Sunon 60x60x25mm 12 Volt, 2.2 Watt 23.5 CFM, 4500 RPM (max), 33.5 dBA
