Okay, i tried unplugging it while i restarted and reset the pram, but to no avail. Also, mine does not have a volume knob. No switches or anything. It's the harman/kardon clear iSub. any more ideas?

i had to do a complete erase and reinstall recently. before that a buddy gave me the harman/kardon bass tube that came with the G4's pro speaker set. when i connected it via usb it worked immmediately. since the reinstall it doesn't seem to be working though the light is on. i've checked the power supply, zapped the pram, repaired permissions, power down and unplugged...

Why doesn't my iSub work on my new Intel iMac. Harman Kardon says it's Apples fault for not supporting it. I like my iSub and I don't see any reason to throw it in a landfill. Does anyone else feel the same? ...

i havent tried this as i'm short on USB connections without either using the ones on the keyboard, or on the back of my monitor, since i have the harman kardon soundsticks i suppose i could give it a try and take the soundsticks out of the equation while testing
