Is my built-in soundcard bad? ...

How can I use CUBE speakers on a G4 desktop (quiksilver) ? (they're the harman kardon round Apple speakers that originally shipped with the cubes) Is there a USB driver I can download somewhere ? (I plugged them into the usb port but the computer's sound still comes from the internal speaker.. and I see nothing in the Sound Preference Pane)

The latest iMac should be the first on the list. If she's at school, then eMac is another option, but for $150 more, I would get the LCD display instead. Get the original iMac if she's on a really tight budget. Price comparison iMac II $1,399.00 eMac $1,249.00 iMac $999.00 Spec comparison
