...Cronnix is nice, and runs totally in the background, of course. If you can forgive an app running and launch things for you, you might easily of overlooked iCal. It CAN launch files on 'alarms' for you. :D ;) ...and doesn't require Uber Guru skills to setup! :D :P

I set my "Send & Receive All" to run every 10 minutes, and i made another rule to check my email when i first launch Entourage. Entourage is simply the best, I have yet to even open Mail or iCal, for... well i never really used them, mail once or twice.

Anyone know if the same thing happens for Mail, iPhoto, iMovie, address book, iCal...? They could all use the same thing - Safaris and IE too. I use it on my desktop and laptop, works great. Backup is somewhat temperamental. The other apps work great. Isync is great for me to update my ical appointments between my laptop/desktop. Sorry you are having trouble. Post specifically what is going on and perhaps peeps can help. ???
