6 things I'd do if I were in charge

Whoops. I meant to say "Bookmarks sidebar". Completely agree. Ironically, there have been reports on a few rumour sites that Apple is preparing to do just that. I'd happily donate a kidney if these rumours turned out to be true (plus, I hope the new mouse has a cool red glow, like The Mouse from MacMice :)). Only one real point - apparently you need a dual G5...

6 things I'd do if I were in charge

Ceroc Addict: Bookmarks bar already exists in safari - it was one of the main features on release. before downloadable music content, apple needs to cater for people existing video libraries - quicktime sucks, when you consider how well organised your music and phot's are in itunes and iphoto etc - iLife needs the equivalent for video - iMovie is a bit of a moot point if...

Iphoto as a "standalone" programme?

Dear everyone, I really love iLife, whichever version. But my problem is I do not use all the programmes. Eversince I have purchased my IMac 500 mhz indigo it had iPhoto 1.0 on it. Beautiful programme, but sooooooooo slow!!! Is it possible to get an update? And then I don not need all the other stuff in iLife! Just iPhoto! Where and how can I get it? Is it possible at all? ...

Why does iLife'05 brag about iTunes on the box, if this is freeware? Or is the version of iTunes in the iLife'05 box a different version?

ILife '05 Shipping!!!

GarageBand app= 62MB Music loops=1.09 GB GarageBand Instrument Library = 1.35 GB GarageBand Documentation = 16.5 MB Total GarageBand data size: about 2.5 GB Granted, this is uncompressed size, no doubt it would be smaller on the installation disk. Still larger than a standard CD, however, especially leaving room for the other applications and their associated data.

Where did mymemory go?

Go do a Get Info on your Applications folder etc, as mentioned by davidbrit, its most likely that it has a plethora of preinstalled goodies. If its a new one, you probably have this stuff installed, which could account for the amount of HD used: iLife 05 (requires 4.3 gig if you install everything!) QuickBooks Art Directors Toolkit OmniGraffle OmniOutliner...

Plextor PX-504A DVD-RW

Greetings all... This is my first post here so please bear with me :-) I looked around and couldn't quite find what needed so I figured it was time to post a question. I recently got a mac mini (love it). There are some problems though, it would seem with my Plextor DVD burner. One of my purchases was an external USB housing for the drive so I could use it with the Mac....
