Image Capture

Seems going into Image Capture options and turning off 'Embed Color Profile' stops the creation of the invisible image. I wonder why it was so large in the first place? ...

t are the same size as the visible JPG, doubling the space that's taken up on the hard drive, and for no apparent reason as other perfectly legitimate methods of image download do not do the same thing. ...

Recently spotted a weird thing happening when I download images from my Nikon D200. I use Image Capture, but not sure if that's the problem. ...

With Picasa2 now running on my Darwine-supported Mac, I need to know how coax OSX to open Picasa2, rather than iPhoto, when I connect my digital camera to it. I have tried RCDefaultApps (not Image Capture as I wrongly said before) but it - like all dratted Finder-driven utilities - can't seem to recognise .EXE files as potentially launchable applications and won't accept...

It's in /Library/Image Capture/TWAIN Data Sources/ Just delete the oldest Epson one.

Hi everyone, Got my 24" 2.4GHz iMac on release last year, with Tiger. Installed Leopard on it on release day. The problem I have is that ever since a botched Boot Camp installation I've had endless problems with certain applications hanging during their startup (notably Image Capture) or refusing to quit (notably iTunes). Force Quit doesn't resolve these issues....

Plugged in my Sony camera which has worked with the old G4 Quicksilver for the last 4 years. iPhoto didn't open, so I checked Image Capture, which says "No device connected"... Checked leads, restarted etc, still the same. ...
