iSync, iDisk, iCal,.Mac, and no server? I tend to be patient about things like this, but it is a bit crazy-making when I can't get my mail. I just set up my work accounts to be forwarded to my .Mac account; I just set up iSync; I need to update my calendars for family and work--and I can't get any of it done, and I have to be at work first thing tomorrow morning..... ...

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I didn't see any mention of iCal syncing with anything. No info on iPod, sony phones or Palm. It seems that without iSync, iCal is sorta useless. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I really want to use iCal, but its useless to me unless it can sync with my palm/ipod.

Just wondering if anyone knows which PalmOS devices will be compatible with iSync. I was considering buying a Handspring Visor and was wondering if it would work with iSync. This is especially important since (I believe) it is not be fully functional with Palm Desktop. Although this might be more appropriate in the handheld section, I think it's most relevant here since...

I have an iMac, OS 10.2 and a Nokia 7650 (no Bluetooth adapter yet). Now all the talking is about using iSync with the Ericsson phones, but I was wondering if anyone already found out if it is possible to use it with the Nokia bluetooth enabled phones so I might consider buying the adapter? Thanks, Martijn

I know this doesn't apply to the non-programmer types out there, but it is possible to make just about any phone work with iSync by writing your own plug-in: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/iSyncPluginMakerUserGuide/Introduction/chapter_1_section_1.html It requires extensive knowledge of your phone's communication protocols, which...
