You might also want to iSync your iCal, Addressbook, Safari bookmarks etc to all other devices you have before - mobile phone, palm, iPod, .mac - just in case. Also, if you have an external firewire hard drive, saving your data there will be faster (also to remove them back from there) than burning 2-3 cds.

Firstly, you needn't store things like your address book or calendars (if you use the built in Address Book and iCal) because they will automatically synchronize with your iPod using iSync. As for any other files, you can configure your iPod to self-enable "disk mode" through iTunes, which means you'll get a little iPod icon on your desktop which acts like any other...

This has happenened to me twice today. For a while, the taskbar will be fine. Then when I go to click something on it (modem settings, display, isync, the clock), I get a beachball...I can't even click anything...as soon as the mouse touches the taskbar, I get a beachball, and have to restart the computer...even logging out doesn't help, I have to physically restart. Any fix?

I am using 1.1 iSync but still cannot get iCal to work but it works with Palm IIIc ok have yet to try QT and 3gp......
