Nope. The spotlight / metadata file system creates preview images of all files as they are written. This means if you save a 100 slide Keynote presentation, it'll process in the background just after saving and store all 100 slides as fairly-low-resolution preview images in the metadata system. When you open it in Finder, you can flip through these pages in the finder...

I recently bought a new iPod Video. I saw the iPod touch and had to watch the keynote! I was wow'd by the features. I was about ready to get a refund for my iPod Video. However, then Steve said that it only came in 8GB and 16GB, and that isn't enough storage for my music. :( On the topic of the iPod Classic and Nano, I think that the all metal designs aren't as nice looking...

hmm, well the touch is very cool no doubt, and I literally was entering my debit card details during the keynote, but a couple things made me think twice, and now I'm not so sure. - No email. It has a full browser but no email? wtf - No notes application...again, wtf? The iPod is not powerful enough for notes? - no maps. Not a huge issue for me, but again, if it has wifi...
