Okay, I had a crisis yesterday. I get up in the morning and need to print out a Keynote presentation for class in 4 hours. I turn on the computer and walk away. 10 minutes later I come back and I can see the desktop but the Finder hasn't loaded. ...

Indeed, there won't be a keynote from Steve, plus the focus will be shifted toward creative professionals (as opposed to the entire spectrum of users). I doubt there will be any major announcements.

Yes, it is in Paris. And Apple is present in Europe nearly only in France. The first store will likely to be a small one, and in Paris. And the next ones after that I can see them in London, then one in Germany (Berlin maybe?), then probably one in Italy (Milan?), then Barcelona, then ...? Apple will open a store in Tokyo next year, and the Europe stores will be later than...

Maybe Berlin, which is hip and they did the keynote streamfest there? ...
