Leopard

So long as you meet the minimum requirements for Leopard, you should be able to upgrade using the full retail installation sold by Apple. Not sure if the upgrade version sold by Apple will upgrade you from 10.3.9 to 10.5.x....it might require at least 10.4 for the upgrade discs.

Avrami, Welcome to MacOSX.com! What virus? There are no viruses for OS X that I've seen announced. There are a couple handfuls of worms and trojans, but I don't remember them causing flickering windows. Sounds like a faulty mouse or trackpad button to me. Just a thought. Please tell us what model Mac you have, the operating system version (e.g. 10.4 Tiger or 10.5...

I can only find the unix file on that path (ie that Python file). 10.5.5 Combo update on top of your existing 10.5.5 should fix the missing/corrupt paths (and not take really any space either). Or, this seems to be a fresher version of Python even if it's not shipping with OS X http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/development_tools/activepython.html Or this?...

Its weird... My MacBook Pro 15" didnt have a real probelm until I tried installing my trial version of a software. In both the windows bootcamp side and the native mac osx (leopard) the cd will go in-churn a little-and spit out. The mac sees the drive. It will take the OSX install disk. Wont take a blank disk, wont take this one... But will selectively take others......

Hi, Today I upgraded from mac os 10.5.3 to 10.5.5, and now whenever I play World of Warcraft, I can't use the keyboard shortcuts to switch between spaces. Since I am an AVID spaces use (particularly when playing WoW), I am determined to find an elegant solution to this beyond reinstalling an older version of leopard. There's no way I've found to get the "Lexmark All In One Utility" to work under OS 10.4.x/Tiger. However, the "Lexmark All In One Center" does work under 10.4.x/Tiger, so you can still print, copy, and scan using the X75.
