There are Wintel notebooks with style. You just won't find them at Dell or Compaq/HP. I don't want to turn everybody into FromAppleToWintel-Switchers, but if you go and look at what Sony, Panasonic, Asus or Fujitsu-Siemens have to offer, you might just find what you need (because you can't choose a Mac, that is). You know, I never really thought about it that way but you're entirely correct. Mac's have great resale value compaired to their PC counterparts. Right now I could easily sell my G3 for $300... try getting that out of a 4 year old PC. I think I'm going to have to upgrade a little more frequently from now on :D

n I use webmail in the first place is if someone were to swipe my notebook, they wouldn't have access to all my personal information. There is very little on my notebook that could be used to trace it back to me or someone I know. ...
