Rumor: 10.1.5 in development?

I've just installed it. http://homepage.mac.com/cuteboy/MacOSX_1015/Version.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/cuteboy/MacOSX_1015/Build.jpg Also, I don't have problem connecting to iDisk now and as fast as Windows! But Goliath is still the best. Clamshell mode is back! I can use my notebook while attached to a mouse/keyboard with an external display! Energy Saver should...

Apple posts US$40 million profit

For news about G5 processors head on to http://mac.fryke.com. Something radically new and obvious at the same time in the form factor of a notebook? Hmm... 'round' isn't really good for notebooks. And really, however 'special' the original iBook was, it didn't seem exactly obvious, and the jokes about them were worse than those about the new iMac.

The other shoe drops (MS Trial)

Actually I love rtf/rtfd format, they work great with AbiWord and StarOffice (for the unix end of the market), the only problem is that not all programs format (or read formats) the same way with rich text. There in lies the problem, this "standard" is proprietary, exclusive and expensive. Microsoft does not make the Word format easy for others to read/write, the...

Please don't switch all iBooks to larger form factor!!!

Actually, kenny's post made me realize one thing. Sony currently has a variety of Vaio subnotebooks with small form factors. The new SR models have a 10.4" screen, so it's obvious that small LCD screens are - and will be available. It would be a shame if LCD manufactuers begin phasing out 12.1" screens in favor of 14" screens, forcing Apple to abandon the 12" iBook. But if...

Motorola breaks the speed barrier - 1.0ghz... Intel demos 5ghz chip.

f OS X's UNIX underpinnings. This is such a quantum leap forward over anything that OS 9 was capable of. I'm not a programmer, but I do think that the melding of Mac and UNIX is a monumental effort and of course, a work in progress. ...

Please don't switch all iBooks to larger form factor!!!

Me too. I have seen people using TiBooks and iBooks and I've seen them side by side, but when I went to my Mac user group last week and there was a 14iBook I realized just how cool the little one is! ...
