Hello world! Does anyone out there has experience running a BIND8/BIND9 DNS on MaxOSX 10.1? I downloaded, configured and compiled the sources, but somehow am not able to get the results I expect. But then, perhaps I am using the wrong tools. What I want to do is the following:

moving the swap in any case has little to do with speed you'll notice unless you have less than 128 meg of ram. the swap is paged memory that steps in when real ram is not avaiable... it's much more optimized than classic VM but similar. You WILL notice it if you run ALOT of apps at once like me my system load at almost all times Audion 2 Internet Explorer Entourage ...

or OLDER in some cases. Try running Photoshop 6 on a 7200 that's slow too... OS X is much written for cutting edge hardware and hardware of the future. I have a Mac 512k here it runs os 5.0 I wouldn't even dream of trying to run even OS 7 on it it's just not goig to happen, don't be stupid. ...
