Hi, I've had this problem for a while - I'm trying to use my TV as an external display for my MacBook Pro (ATI graphics) when running Windows Vista. It is connected using the Apple VGA adapter, into the VGA port on the back of the TV. Vista recognizes that there is an external monitor attached, but no matter how much I fiddle with the settings, I cannot get an image on the TV...

The new sub-notebook will not be tied to AT&T, that would be suicide. I wouldn't buy one if I had to pay a monthly fee for it, even though I really, really want one. The iTunes Store shouldn't support 1080p/i now anyway; it's just too many pixels, and it's really cumbersome for a large part of today's computer users. 720p is the way to go for now. While I love my iPhone, it is just a little too small/slow to use for trying to get something accomplished in the living room or family room while watching the kids or attending to something else. Don't need a full laptop, so some type of sub-notebook would be great.
