I haven't had a chance to try that seeing as my notebook just got sent in to get replaced by Apple, but I'm going to give that a try if I can borrow a computer from someone else today. ...

This is no problem. You can enter this information in the NETWORK pane. You configure the wired nic with the required info (even DHCP) and also the wireless nic with the required info (even DHCP with all info completely different, ofcourse the ip-number must be different for both nic). I had such a setup myself on a notebook, where i access the company network wired and...

Yes but if you're talking about a notebook, about the only thing you can really replace is the hard drive, RAM, and possibly the CPU. Not much different between the Mac and PC notebooks there, IMO. As for the Apple desktops, you can always get a Power Macintosh G4 and still run Leopard just fine, and there are tons of aftermarket upgrades. You could also spring for a gen-1...

Go about it this way... 1.) Compare your notebook to the ones Apple is _currently_ offering, including refurbished models, MacBooks, MacBook Pros, all of them. The price for your MBP has to be lower than what Apple is asking for a similar thing, because either that's a new thing and/or they're the more qualified seller. 2.) Look at the differences between the model that fits...

You have not read your own links. If you won't read yours, then why should I bother to give you additional links? Logitech sells notebooks with special dots printed on the paper to digitize the user's strokes. As I wrote in my answer to your first question, you write in notebooks on specially printed paper. If your first link was to Amazon.com, then obviously you can buy...

Those things aren't made for falling. The last time I let a notebook fall, it was a PowerBook 520c. Go ahead and look when those were sold. www. ...

I'd say forget about the "real video card" in the consumer notebook. The integrated thing works perfectly. See, if Apple were to implement last year's mid-level graphics or this year's lowend chip, the comments would remain the same: Underpowered graphics. They have to have some differences between the pro and the consumer line. And the graphics card is one thing where they...
