Where did mymemory go?

Go do a Get Info on your Applications folder etc, as mentioned by davidbrit, its most likely that it has a plethora of preinstalled goodies. If its a new one, you probably have this stuff installed, which could account for the amount of HD used: iLife 05 (requires 4.3 gig if you install everything!) WTB - Rhapsody DP1 and NextStep 3

Faster is a relative concept. The minimum processor for running Rhapsody for PowerPC is a PPC 604 at 120 MHz. A G3 at 233 MHz is way faster than that. When I was running Rhapsody on my Wallstreet it was fast enough to do everything I wanted with a G3 at 266 MHz, but so is my ThinkPad with a Pentium at 133 MHz. My fastest Rhapsody system I have right now is a PowerMac 7500...

Web Dev tools on a new iBook

You might be interested in TextWrangler, which is free and very useful. If you mean right out of the box, then indeed TextEdit and the Terminal are what you get. Perhaps some Omni-app come with the iBook? OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner can export to HTML, IIRC.

OmniGraffle would be great if it weren't so expensive and had 10 000 things I don't need. Thanks for the suggestions, I ended up using a word processor. PS There's a 20 object limit for non-registered users, which is not enough.
