Hello, I'm using Mac OS X (10.04) on Beige G3 300mhz 192mb RAM. I'm trying to connect to my OS X apache/tomcat server from within the Classic environment. Inside OS X you can simply use 127.0.0.1 to connect but this doesn't work when using a browser inside Classic. Is there any way of connecting from Classic to OS X?

Hello :-) there are webpages, which allows/recommends "secure connections". (not just a login and password from the .htaccess file)... well i heared it should have to do something with "ssl" or port-mapping... but i'm not further informed about these things! apple's buyers-pages, developer-pages, electronic payment par example... etc... does anyone know, how i can realise...

man pages, I realized in a senior level college course discussing programming languages, are mritten in a syntax used to generically describe functional languagu constructs. Essentially it's an entire language of symbols denoting different functionality, necessity, quantity, and relation. It's horrible. You need to learn an entire language abltraction concept to read man...

I have been having some troubles getting my newly created web pages to fit certain browsers in OS X. ...

Am I missing something or is chown missing? I get a man page for it, but can't find the executable. Also has anyone else notived misleading man pages, e.g. 'man route' doesn't agree with what you get if you actually try to you /sbin/route, e.g. '/sbin/route show' doesn't work, tho' the man page claims it should.

album pages won't work. They work with Safari and IE. ...

Plus Mac users buying Windows licenses for BootCamp/Parallels etc. ;) But of course you're right, the market share is highly different in different areas. However it won't change that fast in the corporate area - until Apple better "gets" that world. Pages-templates won't ever persuade accountants to go all-Mac.
