I appreciate suggestions and comments, good and bad. This new site was a huge undertaking and over time, even changed from its original style-plan. In fact, some things coded or styled earlier in the process need to be revisted to bring them up to speed with the rest of the site. Please note: I do not plan on defending choices made (ie, fixed with pages, opposed to fluid...

Hi all, I would construct some kind of failover mechanism between 2 network interface cards I have on my OS X. Can anyone istruct me with usage examples regarding the ifconfig command and its bonddev argument? I checked to see that I had adequate free hard drive space and I do (around 13GB). I rebooted the computer but to no...

Hello everyone. Now that I am getting the hang of PHP and MySQL, the websites I am designing are getting more and more complicated, and sooner or later I will be creating a website that needs a secure page for sensitive data entry. Today I've been investigating how one goes about this, and have learnt that SSL is what I need. So the next step is how do I set up SSL, and...

Have you checked the print quality options in the Copies & Pages menu? Consider this - every OS X application (Finder-accessed apps, not unix command-line programs) outputs postscript.
