Parallels

Unless you have Boot Camp, Parallels, etc with Windows installed; you CANNOT use or open an .exe file/app. That's Windows only!

I'm still with a Nokia 6310i. It's an old plain triband phone that works with my car kit. Car kit charges phone in the cradle unlike a bluetooth unit. But it won't sync with Apple. It's one of the things I do with Parallels/Vista on my MacBook. The Nokia suite backup software is Windows only.

Thanks guys. Had tried Satcomer fix without any success. I then though I'd uninstall parallels as it seems to create virtual network ports on startup (I checked the logs) and (I cross my fingers) has seemed to solve my problem. Maybe I'll have to start using VMWare - I hear it's just as good.

h. Its easy to work on an IBM as far as replacing parts, but a pure PITA to take apart a mac. Id rather get the best of both worlds, get a mac then run Fusion or Parallels with XP. ...

You should be able to point Parallels to use the .iso file for the system installation. ...

I am afraid you are right; I have no choice but to re-install my GENTOO from start again because after putting my macbook to sleep - parallels does loose its network configurations and there is no way to bring them back without an image restart. I was hoping to avoid that , but oh well. Thanks everyone
