Hey There, I have the same problem as richard, which is that Roxio Popcorn 'unexpectedly quits' each time I drag/select a TS_VIDEO. However the advice to 'repair permissions' didn't work for me. It's the first time that I've used the combo since I loaded Tiger onto my computer. Could it be a security thing, that they can detect you're ripping disks? My second question...

Popcorn isn't a ripping program. If you want to copy a "protected" DVD, you must first rip it with MacTheRipper. Then just drag the VIDEO_TS folder that MTR created onto Popcorn's window and click the big red button.
