In previous version of OSX, the Finder has recognised the rotation of a photo when using the 'show icon preview' feature in the 'View Options'. However Tiger doesn't seem to. All my portrait photo's are showing up as landscape when previewed. If I open them in 'Preview' or 'Photoshop' the appear correctly. Anyone know how to fix this?

If you have Tiger, you might not need to run it through Distiller. Open the EPS in Preview, and choose Print..., then use the "Save as PDF/X" in the print dialogue. It's been a while since I used QXP, so I don't remember exactly how it looks like, but maybe you can access the "Save as PDF" in the print dialogue directly there.
