but it is so slow because it doesn't have a Preview Pane like most newsreaders. Isn't there anything for OSX that can do this with a Preview Pane like Unison? ...

I put it in my powerbook and tried to open it in Scribus. I could only see the first page which frustrated me. I thought maybe I could see if it was all there in Preview and to my delight it was not only all there, but automatically changed to pdf! ...

i would say leave the file asssociations with preview, it's useful when you just want to see an image without opening up photoshop all the way. instead, just get in to the habit, like i do, of using the dock as the decision for what program to open an image in. simply drag the image onto the icon on the dock, and that program will highlight to show it can open this file...

er you want. If you choose None, it will just download the photos to the folder specified in "download to...". If you choose "Preview" it will open the photos in Preview once download it complete, etc etc. ...

Have you checked the movies on the camera itself in preview mode, just to make sure that they are MPEGs? ...

Since upgrading to 10.4.3 my Konica Minolta magicolor 3300 prints from most apps with a keyline at where I presume the image area border is. If I select Preview from the Print dialog box, it usually prints correctly, without keyline, but not 100%. Latest drivers from Konica seem to predate Tiger so that has not helped. Suggestions appreciated! R.
