For Preview, you can set the default zoom in the preferences. I recommend "Auto size". 100% is usually too small, because OS X treats screens as though they're 72DPI even though most modern monitors are 96DPI or higher.

In Preview, it always seems like my PDFs appear too small when I download and open them. Is Preview not supposed to be a full-fledged PDF reader? How do I fix this? Also, Dashboard is slow to open and I seem to have lost the Wikipedia widget I installed. Is there anyway to reset Dashboard back to its defaults (ie. no note widgets). --Sam

blank pages come out of the printer, sometimes with the top inch of the document I want. No error message is ever generated. I have opened these documents in preview then printed from preview. Same thing happens. I have also saved the documents to the desktop as pdf's, then opened the pdf's and tried to print. ...

New versions of iLife and iWork. A FrontRow update to 2.0 has been rumoured. Leopard preview: Nopee, that's reserved for WWDC in June (as you mentioned). If an intel Mac is released, then we'll also hear a lot about universal binaries and, of course, Mac OS X 10.4.4 for intel Macs.

I like Tiger's way of displaying PDFs in the browser window. I previously _never_ liked such behaviour, but something about Preview/Safari in Tiger is right. Probably the lightweight feeling about it.
