Biz app from Apple - on a limb

Many of you may be shocked that I'm going out on a limb on this one...If I could I would bet my left testicle on this. But within 6 months Apple will be releasing a new business application. I am not quite sure if this is going to be an accounting application for small businesses that is completely seperate from filemaker or an add on solution to filemaker. Filemaker seems...

Accounting software needed

It's a Corp, LLC. No, I do not need a payroll. QuickBooks Pro is $300 and it's the only version they made available for Mac users versus Windows where you get more choices - not nice. Can a user upload bank/credit card statements with MYOB firstedge? And if so, does it really work in real life?

Does Quicken software come bundled with new eMac or not?

Check the folder that has other installers if you don't see it immediately in list view. Also true, if you have already re-formatted, that some third party software is not available to reinstall from your...

Most used Apps

Guesstimated order of usage: Suitcase (always on of course) iKey (I would rather not even use a computer than go without this) Mail (I'm a mail-checking junkie) Safari QuickBooks Photoshop CS InDesign CS Preview (I hope to never launch Reader again, useless POS)

Clear differences between 12" ibook and powerbook

The memory issue is tiny between the 12" PB and the 12" iBook. The both only have one SODIMM slot (the 15/17" PB has two). While Apple states that the most that will fit in an iBook is a 512M module, many places sell 1G SODIMMs that work in iBooks. So the RAM difference is really 1280M vs 1152M (the iBook has 128M on the board, the 12" PB has 256M on the board). Also the...

I got a dud 15 inch g4 powerbook w/superdrive?

According to the Apple Store web site the following software is bundled with the PowerBook I have not heard of or seen Toast included in the Apple software bundle in many years -- maybe as far back as OS 8 or earlier. Some retailers have included some software titles as an incentive to purchase from them, but that is strictly the province of the retailer and those may be...
