I checked with Quicken's technical support to see if there was another way to do it and they said that it is what they suggest doing. So, I would guess if it's their recommendation, it's okay. Ours is on the same machine, just two different users. Maybe that's the difference.

I'd be real careful here - Quicken is not made to do this. Definitely play around with a "test" version for a while. I use the Windoze version and tried it once with that.
