I've had my card about four years and a couple of my friends who use theirs as much as I do went platinum in their fifth year. As for Quicken, the last time I tried it, it worked perfect. That was about a month ago though. Since I'm in between apartments, I have no Internet connection for my Mac. From high speed DSL to nothing, the poor thing just looks sad when Software...

Say, have you had problems downloading your statements from within Quicken? Every time I've tried recently it's failed. So how long have you been using your card? I got their platinum card after about four or five years only.

Actually, I've tried using their Deskshop software (on Windoze) a couple of times (a while back), and it failed miserably. Maybe it's gotten better since then. I'll considering ditching the card, but it's the only card I have that allows me to download my statements directly from within Quicken for free (although that's failed the last several times I've tried it  )....

:p good one Fryke i like the idea of the iCam - vidoeconferencing. If apple started buiding that in and including it on imacs with big advertisements - it might be frightenly succesful. i would like to see something like iOwe - an alternative to quicken. let me keep track of how much money i have, or how much i am saving towards my next apple purchase. (it would be nice...

I've just downloaded Accounts 1.2 (http://www.nano.com.au/) from my iDisk Software folder. It looks pretty nice on the outside, I've used it off the mounted image for day or so. I know it's not Quicken (I don't like Quicken much), but what have you found in this software? Does it look like it's worth the $35 registration fee? I need something to basically monitor my...

I'm not saying Quicken is the best program in the world, but it works perfectly for what I want it to do: Keep a record of my transactions, do some math for me, and provide a report every so often. OK, this thread has kind of drifted. Perhaps we should see how they're doing, hmm? jhorsmit, MacXtreme, vidiot1701 Hello. Still with us? I'd like to know about the...

Nah, it was probably my fault. I'm probably not giving Quicken sufficient credit. I didn't figure out that it was some prior reconciliation attempts that were thwarting me at every turn. ...

I've been using Quicken for years, and never thought that the reconcile was non-intuitive. But then again, I'm a programmer, like the people who probably designed Quicken. So if I had formal accounting education I might think that Quicken's reconcile is unintuitive also.
