Quicken

Go to www.versiontracker.com and do a search for Quicken. That's how I got my update.

A couple of days ago I tried to open three often used apps: Quicken, Entourage and MSWord. They all opened and then closed immediately. I can open Word via opening a doc, but not so of the other two. When I ran an "open e-mail folder" script from the Entourage script menu it said "Apple Script, Microsoft Entourage got an error: Connection is invalid." How can I repair these...

Drive. Now I can run Quicken on this laptop and finish my taxes! ...

I've had my white iMac Core 2 Duo for a year now, and it seems to be getting progressively slower. For example, in iTunes, when I click a playlist, there is a one-second delay before it "clicks" the playlist on the screen. Another example is with Quicktime 7 (pro); to open any 700MB movie, it takes about 5 minutes for it to open, and until then, QT is totally unresponsive....

OK so I switched from PC to Mac. Generally, I am happy... My new Mac is an iMac 20" with 2GB of RAM. Running Leopard OS. My complaint is that all my music skips in iTunes. Even when iTunes is the only application I have open. Having read the previous posts from other members, I deleted all my preferences and that did not solve anything. I can't speak to VMWare, but I set my dad up with Parallels when he got his first Mac so he could continue to use his Windows Quicken files and access his old Micorsoft Works files. It performs wonderfully for that. I suspect VMWare would have no problem either. ...
