Quicksilver Mac

Hi, According to Mac Hardware Test L3 cache of Quicksilver 1ghz DP seems to fail in some way (Post 16/64) causing my G4 to hang before finishing boot process. My questions: - Does this occur on 1 of 2 processors or both? The test gives no clue as to which processor causes problems

Or, will Lepard work on a G4 Dual 800 Quicksilver with 1.5 gb of ram? ...

Windows. Mac is better, yes, but not that much in my opinion. ...

Did a clean install of OSX 10.3 Thursday on the Quicksilver G4 (1.5 gigs RAM) at my office; install went well and upon finish set up user accounts, networking, etc. flawlessly. Came into work yesterday (Friday) and booted the mac, only to have it give me the flashing Happy Mac/question mark icon. Tried several reboots with same results. Then rebooted from Panther install CD...

Question: Will this computer be good for some light movie editing and watching home videos and youtube? Cause my g3 is too slow to play any videos. I just want to know to get some advise if this is a really good deal or i should just save up more money and buy a newer mac. Thanks.
