Quicksilver Mac

I have a little problem which has stumped me totaly for now... I've just tried to setup a firewall on an OS-X Server using Brickhouse. I have a G4 Quicksilver server with another ethernet card in, the second ethernet card goes into a hub with one client on it and the first ethernet card goes into the main network which has the internet access... I bought my quicksilver 867 back in 12/01, without knowing the SB Live card is incompatible with OS X. I was just wondering if anyone heard whether it will be made compatible? I check the site periodically and still no word.

Mac OS X is great, I really enjoy using it and it has some very nice features.However, it seems Apple has forgotten that their cutomers like to play with settings... My personal pet peeve with OS X is the blinking menus, it was the first thing I turned off in OS 9 simply because I know what I selected and I see no reason for the silly thing to waste time blinking at me....

My mac is sluggish to eject a CD (in OS X) when I hit the eject key on the keyboard, and now, just after inserting a blank CD, it won't eject at all! The eject key simply doesn't work. What is going on here, and is there any way of getting this CD out (it's not mounted, obviously), without restarting the OS? Anyone else know what I'm talking about? Craig
