hi i had the luck of finding both a quicksilver 733 and a dual 800 mhz processor card really cheap.. so all of a sudden i had a fairly fast machine, for relatively little money. everything worked fine.. still does, but at one point i noticed a decrease in performance, so i checked Systemprofiler, and to my surprise the level 3 cache is gone.

Well, a nice free program that will allow you to launch and manipulate files without having to type a full path is Quicksilver. All you do is activate it with a hotkey (command-space for example) and start typing in safari and it will pop up with the option to launch. hi i have a quicksilver, that after it went to sleep, often doesn't wake-up like it should anymore. you can here the harddisk starting and stopping over and over again. the video-card seems to start as screen turns on and shows desktop, but there's no mouse. sometimes after a minute or so it does wake-up fully, but that sounds the harddisk makes, makes me worry. it's not a...
