Does anyone know what companies use the Pioneer DVR 106 (A06) and label them as their own? I do know of one, (Cendyne)...Anyone else? There are a couple of drives I'm considering at Office Depot....Pacific Digital, Liteon, Verbatim, I/0 Magic. Would any of these DVD burning drives work in my G4 700 QuickSilver? Thanks, Ezd50

i was having lots of programs crash in 10.2.8 so i erased and reinstalled 10.2 i am trying to update it to 10.2.8 but the updater crashed half way through. i downloaded the file and when i try to install it it quits after i put in my admin password. what can i do? i have a g4 867 (quicksilver) help mitch

Im running a G4 Quicksilver, I just installed Panther, downloaded updates and installed few Apps nothing too heavy, G4 runs ok at first now all I get is the Flashing ? at bootup. Zapped the PRAM and booted from CD, ran Disk utils and the drive is not mounted, restarted a few times and I still get the Flashin ?.....can anyone shine some light on this for me. Thanks.

Well, I bought an emac that came with a DVD version. I want to install it also on my QuickSilver.

I agree. Just wait. You don't "need" a new laptop, and you already have a Quicksilver, so just wait for the PowerBook G5. I always try to time my computer buying for a big architecture switch, so I never feel too behind. I'm currently using my almost three year old PowerBook G4 at 500Mhz, and I'm going to wait for the first PowerBook G5s for my next computer.
