The developer of QuickSilver seems to recommend that people buy LaunchBar because development on QS MIGHT halt. I am curious whether anyone is switching to LaunchBar.... ...

Problem: I download the .dmg file of quicksilver. Then I would execute QS and the big QS symbol spins onto the screen, but then it would disappear. Attempted solutions: Looked EVERYWHERE. I've tried to repair disk, reinstall, delete everything and reinstall. Nothing seems to work.

So I would open quicksilver, the little QS icon would spin onto the monitor, then it'd close. Nothing would happen. I've tried installing and reinstalling many times. I've looked online everywhere but no one has this problem with QS. Thank you for your help.
