So you don't get the awful tearing when, say, using doc zooming? Incredibly latent screen redraws? In other words, no more VNC-like speed? I don't have a second Mac here so I can't try it out at the moment (I'd spend EXTRA money if they'd just put out a Windows client, though I'd like to point out again that MS has a Windows, Mac, and LINUX client for terminal...

yes apple remote desktop does work over the internet, I know because I have done it. Of course if you have a router, you have to forward a port to the mac that you will be remote desktoping to... and you will need to remember your IP so you can use it on the road, or use dyndns. ...

Why should a logical person wanna do that? Your have both a Wintel/Amd and a Mac in the same house and you would like to use your Wintel/Amd through your iMac? :confused: Damn! Your Wintel/Amd must be REALLY ugly ::ha:: My advice to your "problem" would be: -Just use shared devices via networking -Use your Wintel/Amd when you have to use it -Use you iMac when you have to...
