I have retrospect, and I can run that if i like. I'm just not gonna boot into 9 everytime I want to backup (being every night). And using disk copy to backup a full 46 gig drive would require another empty 46 gig drive and that just won't do :) Justin

I loved that part of classic, where you could use either retrospect or for basic use disk copy. The ability to just reload a working backup of osx would be very handy indeed. Does the new version of disk copy allow this? ...

I didn't get any replies on my post of a few days ago. I was able to get a copy of Disk Copy 6.4 with the new CLONE command. It does a great job of cloning my internal drive to an external FireWire drive. I've booted both 9.2 and OS X 10.1 from the external drive with no problems.
