First, it should be noted that Apple never actually got Sherlock to begin with. Sherlock was done as a knock off of some of the tools from Watson. But Apple only really wanted to have the tools but didn't get the concept of what Watson really was... ...

Sherlock never worked correctly in Switzerland. Maybe a localization problem, or just a lack of database. But most of the information you enjoy in the USA is not available here.

OK guys...bear with me. I'll keep this short. I'll admit that half the time I don't really know what I'm doing, due mostly to impatience and laziness, so if i'm glazing over some obvious things, please let me know. Also, forgive me if any of these issues are discussed elsewere here. Okay, I'm on a dual G4, OS X.1.5. I was offline for about 9 months, so I'm wondering if...

I have run into few and little problems......but I don't find Tiger that much more impressive at this point of its development. I had a weird log out incident and safari unexpectedly quit. And it is build 8A162. The only difference between it and panther are : Safari 2.0 with RSS feeds (which displays a lot of pages incorrectly for me), Pipeline (automater has slightly...

I must say, though, that this update was far more impressive than I expected it to be. I had been expecting a 64-bit OS wrapped in updated iLife... Launchbar (which I never ended up registering) is residing uselessly in my Applications folder at the moment. If Spotlight can also browse my applications, I'll be very happy with it. I must say that its icon made me gasp with...

I think the thing that has really irked people here is that this isn't a matter of Apple saying "hey, other people have made MP3 players, let's make a really, really good one!" . They're not simply taking a good general idea and running with it. In these cases they've practically photocopied the original app and tried to pass it off as their own creation. The amount of...

Also look at these things this way: Imagine someone introduced a 'telephone' that could be used 'wirelessly' around town. Such a 'mobile phone' would be quite practical. Do you guess every other 'telephone maker' would just _stop_ innovating and let that new guy in town rule the market? Konfabulator, to many people I reckon, was new. It wasn't Desk Accessories. It wasn't...

I don't remember everyone getting angry over that. When Apple released Sherlock 3, Watson was made better. Konfabulator needs to just accept it and move on. ...
