Sherlock

Sherlock will search the web just fine under OS X 10.0, but when I click on a link, it brings the default web browser forward but doesn't pass the URL to the browser. My default browser is Omniweb 4.0, so I thought that might be the problem. I switched the default browser to Explorer, and got the same behavior. I do not understand how some people can have such a bad experience with OS X final (store bought copy, that is). Today, I went to the store to see (and buy*) OS X. I saw that in the 4k73 build its not possible to search for the files in the unix system from sherlock. In the older builds there where possible to search for all files on the disk. And i cant get the locate or whereis command to work. Does anyone now how to search for systemfiles from finder or the promt?

Failing that, would anybody be willing to change their own resolution and then use Sherlock or unix find to look for altered files? ...
