But every other app from stickies to TextEdit to AppleWorks to Excel is fine! ...

Perfessor, its not like I have a spare external hard drive handy. I have my DVD burner, thats it. What I can do is burn my downloads onto a dvd and hope for the best. I'll lose iLife, and the things that come with it like the calculator or stickies, but otherwise it'll be ok.

Btw.: I only have 5 widgets open. Clock, weather, calendar, calculator, translation and one sticky with some info. I don't think that should be "too much" for the system to handle. I personally intend to have some more stickies - and I fear there'll be people who want like a hundred dashboard widgets at a time or so...

l certainly enhance my daily workflow. I'm looking forward to those Stickies, for example. The "old" ones were just an application. Now I can have more than just stickies on my "dashboard". ...

Just updated from 8A351B to 8A369 on my iBook. And everything seems much more finished suddenly. Hope someone can help. Everytime I wish to use the helpviewer in certain apps like Stickies or whatnot it wont load the help menu. Instead, the help window opens but then seizes and I get the beach ball of death and have to force quit the viewer. ...
