That pretty much did it. Removing the extension still left the icon as an excel file but then I relized I didn't have a copy of Stuffit Expander loaded yet. Once I got that, which downloaded just fine, it immediately appeared as the default to open the Media Player. ...

i have Stuffit deluxe... it didn't do the work...it expand it but i don't find it anywhere.. like it never happen!!!!!! ...
